First off, I’d like to wish everyone Salam Aidilfitri Mubarak, please forgive my misdeeds and awful sense of humour. I can never thank you enough for putting up with me all this while. My gratitude cannot be described by words, and I offer you my most humble apologies.
Yea, I know I don’t really have a fandom swooning over my disappearance, but at least I know that if you’re reading this, you must have been wondering what happened to this site for the past few weeks.
See, it’s like this: My domain registration expired on 5/10/06, as does my webhosting but at that time I was having my exams so I decided to put off paying the bills until the exam stress is over and dealt with [Alhamdulillah I passed all my papers]. Blogasian [my webhost provider] are a very kind of helpful lot to let me delay the payments for a while, since they know I don’t own a credit card nor a paypal account and it might be late before they can get any payment from me - which was why they alerted me that my subscription would end soon, so I have some time to arrange whatever that was necesary to make those payments [thanks, Albert!].
GoDaddy, my domain registrar, isn’t quite like that. Before I realise it, on 6th Oct itself, I was unable to access the blog, and was redirected to a GoDaddy search page. I was quite amused at first, but it wasn’t really a big matter because I knew I could settle the payments soon. However, 2 weeks later, when Albert tried to help me make payments to them he was unable to find the domain that he should pay for.
I contacted GoDaddy tech support only to learn that the domain has entered a redemption period of 30 days before it’s released to the registry, and the domain won’t be available to the public until 5 days later. That part, I don’t mind. Here’s the bullshit: if I want to redeem the domain during that time I must make payments of USD80 on top of the USD10 renewal fee.
FUCK YOU, BITCH. GODADDY SUCKS.
So I figured, hell, I better let that one go, and registered this dotORG domain with a local company instead. I did a little research, and contacted the owner of a dotCOM domain of the same name. He seems to be a very nice and if things turn out well, I might make one final transition to a dotCOM.
The move might cost a bit but hell, I think it’ll be damn worth it.

Aaaaaanyway,… now that the site is up and running again, it’s back to blogging! Lots of backlogged blog posts, pictures, and one belated Gundam review!
