A Tribute to the Shadow Warriors

Small Talk:
Pardon the cryptic talk, if you will.
I am eternally grateful for the efforts of my elite Ninja squadron over the past year. Thanks to the results of their military training and stealth ops, I have been able to make critical strategic decisions over the course of an ever-changing battlefield and eventually emerged victorious by a paper-thin margin (literally).
They continue to be in service today, lurking within the shadows, blades hidden in their sleeves and smoke bombs to cover their tracks. Their efficiency is rivaled only by their discretion and loyalty to the truth. And my enemies continued to march blindly into the fray, desperately gnawing at what little bit of fight they can get.
They charge at me still, thinking they are a step ahead of me. Of course, with the aid of my warriors lurking in the shadows, they pushed me three, four steps further. Without their efforts, I would have been lost, drowned in a sea of fire, blood and chaos.
To my ninjas, walking proudly in the light and stalking vigilantly in the night, I salute you. You guys kick ass.
