Computers and the internet was very much a foreign concept to me, and we didn’t have handphones either, so keeping in touch was a time-consuming (and troublesome) affair which pretty much completely cut me off from the world I was so familiar with from the past three years. Throughout my upper secondary years, I gradually began to forget about them and rebuild my life with new friendships.
