A new month, a new wallpaper :D

Wow, now that I realised it, I haven’t blogged for quite a while. Not that anybody is really bothered by the absence to begin with, heheh :P

Anyway, I’ve been up to a couple things ever since the holidays started. It’s been two weeks since and only a week left before classes start again. The recent exams were thankfully carefree ones as they were pretty much heavy on the assignments - that’s where most of my headaches tend to congregate. Thankfully, those too are pretty much taken care of, and while still on the amateur’s side of the game I earned a small chunk of bragging rights for being the best among noobs. Not a bad start, I guess.

The first week was filled with weddings. I helped out a cousin’s wedding at Melaka, and attended several others in the following days. Long drives were aplenty, that week. Once that was over, it’s back to good old anime and games routine. After getting the pay for one of my design jobs, I bought myself a new GPU: an MSI NV9600GT 512MB, Overclocked Edition. It’s taking the place of my previous NV7600GT, which I need to send for a warranty claim. It should allow dual-monitor display, but one of its output ports isn’t working [not that I have two monitors]. Crysis now looks pretty on ‘High’ settings :D

In other news, I have decided to join a group of anime bloggers/fansubbers. From this point on, I probably won’t be doing anime rants here anymore as I find it more satisfying to write for a dedicated anime blog. We are now speedsubbing Toshokan Sensou since nobody else seems to be doing it, and the high-quality fansubbers Menclave are taking their sweet time with their many many projects.

Do come over to Ocha! and say hi!

And then there’s the horrors that befell the entire nation. Price hikes, inflation and lots of political nonsense have pretty much set a large fire under the people’s asses. The most recent one being the sudden rise of petrol price from RM1.92 to RM2.70 per litre, and come August, subsidies will be completely removed and the price would leap up to RM4.00 per litre - no thanks to a certain family of hypocrites and outright liars.

Leisurely drives are now a luxury with a premium price tag. Things pretty much sucks as far as the national affairs are concerned. All the people do is complain and condemn and nothing constructive. I might spend some time covering the political scene from the perspective of youths. But that’s another story for another day :)

Small Talk:
A little surprise is coming your way soon. Very soon ;)
