Colours of Terengganu

May 16th, 2007

I don’t really feel like writing today, so I’ll just make this one full of pictures. Take it as my own little contribution to the Visit Malaysia ‘07 Campaign, heheh.

This particular series of photos are sights from the lively and colourful Pasar Kedai Payang, a bustling traditional and cultural market smack right in the middle of Kuala Terengganu, the capital city of Terengganu.

I think I’ll just let the pictures explain the rest :D

I purposely avoided taking pictures of the crowd, in case you were going to ask something like “Where’s all the bustling and lively crowd in that pasar?”. Too many people have taken those kinds of pictures, and you’ve seen them everywhere and quite frankly, I find that to be quite boring.

I’m not a photojournalist. I just love taking simple and nice pictures.

Technical Note: Most [if not all] shots are done in ISO 200 and Aperture Priority mode. The EXIF data should still be there. Yes, there are a bunch of older shots from my [stolen] A700 thrown into the mix, too.

Those stacked cone hats was shot at a nice angle – it looks so much like those bamboo pau-steamers, don’t u think?

Silencers: They’re tudung saji actually :D But yea, the stacks looked so interesting I couldn’t resist a shot.
