Five Blogs

May 12th, 2007

Small Talk:
I can’t find Andy Hunter’s Life album, anywhere. Not in stores, not even torrents. If you are a fan of his works and have that particular EP, please please contact me!

So I guess I’m tagged for the 5 Favourite Blogs meme. I read plenty of blogs when it comes to my usual blog-hopping rounds, but I do have a select few blogs that I follow almost religiously. So, here we go, in no particular order:

  • I wrote a little tribute to WaiterRant some time ago, and this blog is something I visit regularly to not only indulge myself in stories and wisdom, but also to improve my own style of writing as The Waiter writes with an excellent command of the language. I suppose that is to be expected for a book author :D
  • Another favourite blog of mine is written by Penang-based engineer Michael Ooi. I believe that he likes Maddox as much as I do, judging from the way he relates to his readers the stories about people who piss him off. Of course, what is an engineer without having some things written in the most technical and analytical of styles?
  • Jeff Lawson is a passionate anime lover who blogs from America. One thing that sets him apart from other anime bloggers is that while he shares the same love for moe-oriented shows, he writes so well that it makes his blog a pleasant read, unlike the many very extremely annoying anime bloggers who pepper their entries with Japanese terms inconsiderately – thinking themselves as cute. My own taste in anime differs quite greatly from that of Jeff’s but that doesn’t stop me from enjoying his blog.
  • For entertaining reads and short quips of wits, I go to Viewtru’s blog. Be it Zen in three sentences, three whole paragraphs or even a whole freaking science fiction saga, Viewtru has always been one of my favourite reads.

  • Of course, there’s also Azrael, who doesn’t really ‘blog’ per se, since he’s basically re-telling his old stories. As one of his [several thousand] old fans from Outpost Nine, I don’t really visit the Gaijin Smash blog regularly since I have read most of the stories when he put them up as editorials the first time. I go there every once in a while for a nice long laughing spree, though.

Uhh,… I don’t think any of these five would carry on this meme, I guess, hahaha. Oh well.

but u’ll need to have a multiply account to download. surely that’s just a minor annoyance in the way of getting what u want ;)
anyway multiply is a really good place to search for songs. enjoy!

Silencers: Wow, thanks! Hey, I know you! You’re that cute girl studying in the UK, right? I think I’ve been to your fertalks blog before :D

Eh, a 404. You closed it down?

lol, how beautiful is the world now that u know u hv a cute girl stalker? :D
yea, my blogspot was getting too much unwanted attention. moved over to multiply now where i get more control over what goes public and what doesn’t. i know, i’m paranoid. ur welcome to add me if u want (^^)

Silencers: *heart skips a beat* A cute stalker! The world is indeed beautiful, hahaha. I shall add your Multiply page to my links list, since I don’t really make use of the multiply account that I created just to download the songs :D
