I knew I can trust my senses when it comes to anime characters. I felt that there was something about Arcueid’s red eyes. I only saw it for a fleeting moment, but I can’t help but think “I must watch this. I must know more about this red-eyed girl!”

Watching Arcueid throughout Tsukihime really reminded me of Saber in Fate/Stay Night. Probably because both of them share similar traits: Both have been around for centuries, both have a past they refuse to acknowledge, both have a strong personality, and both are blonde foreigners. And of course, both ended up banging the main hero [lawlzerz].

It’s funny, really. The first time Yun Chuan showed Tsukihime to me, I thought that it was a slow, dull, boring and confusing show. But of course, circumstances change, and when I first heard of and watched Tsukihime, that was over three years ago. Yet, when I watched it again just several days ago, the feeling was completely different.

In case you can’t tell, I just finished watching the last episode of Tsukihime, and oddly enough, it reminds me of the feeling when I watched the last episode of Fate/Stay Night. Both endings have a similar ‘thing’ going on, and both shows have lots of mysteries and deeper stories that are only explored in the game. I guess it’s what you can call a TYPE-MOON show, after all.

I don’t know about Kiddy Grade, though. I think I’ll just prepare myself for some cheap humor.

Arcueid is hot. And so is Saber.
