One More Time

January 4th, 2007

I received a rather shocking message via YM today. It’s taken directly from a posting from the MMU Bulletin Board and apparently it has been circulating around all day.

Dear EEN 1026 students,

Due to unexpected events, I regret to inform that the subject EEN 1016 (Electronics II) has to be re-examined. The re-examination shall be conducted at the following time:

Date : Sunday, 7 January 2007
Time : 8.00pm
Venue : as stated in the new exam slip (you may start printing the new exam slip on 5 January)

We very much regret should this re-examination is to cause any inconvenience to any of you. Please consult your respective Dean should you have any queries on the matter

Thank you and regards,
Head
Examination and Records Unit.

Wow.

The poor guys have to do that paper AGAIN? And it’s not even a supplementary paper or anything, you know. I’ve done Electronics II before and I can tell you this much: it’s not fun. At all.

I’m sure a bulk of them sighed a huge relief after they finished that paper the first time. I can now imagine the kind of shock and WTF-ness they’re all going through now that they have to do it AGAIN. This definitely can’t be good. To top it off, the exam will be on a Sunday night? OMG, liek WTF, d00d?

Regretting for the ‘inconvenience’ isn’t enough, I tell you. They might as well announce WTF went wrong to justify their actions. I bet the dean’s office will be fucking flooded with furious curious students.

Although I’m no longer part of FOE, a part of me still feels a strong attachment to it and I can understand their pain. I just hope things don’t get ugly.

Been there, done that. And I sat for Engine Maths I think. Which do you think was worse? :D

Silencers: Phwoar. Hahaha that’s really sad, man.

Vinder says:

apparently it has happened before. not surprising at all. but pity those who have to go through it.

Ganaesh says:

Can’t imagine the amount of flak FOE and the Exam Unit are going to get. Pity those who have to sit for this crazy-ass paper again.
