Blame it on the weatherman instead.

I know I heard those phrases from somewhere, I just.. can’t remember from where and when I heard them. At any rate, I believe that they have a simple and clear meaning: one should never stop learning.

That said, learning should not be limited only to the formal academic scope. Walking is an acquired skill. As is talking, singing, screaming and lying. You might not be taught to lie, but that doesn’t change the fact that you learnt how to lie.

You learn from examples, you learn from what you were told, you learn from what you observed. Inputs, inputs and more inputs. Information goes in, and hangs around your mind for a while. The knowledge is there, but that doesn’t mean you have learnt them. The learning process really happens, when your mind actually reaches out to that pile of information. What better time for your mind to reach out and grab hold of that information, than when the time calls for you to use it?

Shooting kids is always fun.


I attended a relative’s wedding not too long ago. I was testing out the S3IS that day. I have to admit that it suffers from TERRIBLE noise at ISO800 for any decent printing. However, some of the pictures did turn out pretty well, but with less favourable compositions. I hate poorly lit halls. Hate them, hate them, HATE THEM!!

It just makes me wish for a proper SLR with a fast tele lens and a slave flash that I can diffuse. More photos after the jump :)
