My life has been on full throttle for non-stop since last thursday.
On that day there was a programming quiz. Thankfully I managed to get through it without feeling like a steaming pile of tahi.
The next day was a programming tutorial and I forgot my freaking Knoppix CD.
[note: Knoppix is a Linux OS that runs on a CD. It doesn't need to be installed on a machine to be used.]
Saturday is when I sent the car for an oil change and there was LONG queue. During the time, Cheras was hit by a freak storm. Several roadside stalls got blown away by a sudden freak tempest. Yeesh.
Luna decided to have a period on Sunday. I spent the whole day trying to fix the ‘Delayed Write Failure’ but to no avail. I think in the span of 24 hours I restarted her more than I would every few months.
[note: I found the source of the problem, though. It seems my 250GB SATA-II hdd has bad sectors. It still runs, but it should be repaired. The software says it can be repaired, but data will be lost.]
Boy started making weird noises on Monday. His rear wheels are making horrible croaking and grinding sounds every once in a while, it scared me to hell when I drove.
Tuesday morning I sent it for repairs. All that, while completely forgetting to study for a Math quiz, which was later that night. Luckily I did some practice in the evening and went through it without much trouble, too.
On Wednesday, I drove to PJ after class to help my sis-in-law fix her PC. Turns out her AGP card’s contact points are all dusty, hence sometimes the PC boots up but nothing shows on the screen [a simple problem often leaving n00bs feeling helpless]. Not to mention that its been hit with a shitload of viruses so I spent the whole day reinstalling a fresh copy of Windows on it. To make things worse, it’s a Shuttle PC, and troubleshooting that cramped and claustrophobic piece of crap is a pain in the lubang tahi.
The funny thing is, it’s got an 80GB HDD with 2 partitions, 30GB and 50GB. The 30GB is the OS. The 50GB is empty. Says plenty of things doesn’t it?
[note: It's a pretty powerful PC, actually. AMD 64 2800 s754 on 512MB RAM with an AGP Radeon 9550XT]
Thursday was basically spent burning out some of the 200+GB worth of stuff in my HDD. Its taken lots of burning errors and my limited patience. Luckily there’s a few Futurama episodes [only 45] to watch while burning.
Today, I was cooking, and was looking for the FZ30 so I can show off my talents to you, again. BUT THE WHOLE FUCKING BAG WENT MISSING. I’m still looking for it, and I’m very very upset :( I wish its somewhere safe, oh please oh please.
Sigh. I don’t know if I’m going to Troubadours on Sunday. I really need to rejuvenate :(
UPDATE:
I found the FZ30 hiding in my mom’s closet. She was going to take it to the lab next Monday. Thank goodness.

Ask your mom if she took it on assignment. Anyway the plan is 3pm, Masjid Jamek.
Silencers: She went on vacation to Australia. And I lent her my A95.
