The Good:
1. I’m alive and well
2. Strengthened the already close bonds I have with the few friends that I love.
3. Started blogging
4. Dad bought me Boy
5. The final 4 months at Malacca spent with the best group of housemates ever.
6. A result from [5], landed myself a nice fat collection of the Anime and songs I’ve always wanted
7. A result from [4], freedom of mobility
8. A result from [7], finally found myself a perfect spot to chill at Sg. Chongkak
9. I still keep my scholarship
10. A result from [3], meeting and interacting with new and wonderful people through the local blogosphere.
11. Went to Singapore
12. A result from [11], getting thrilled out of my skin with a ride on G-Max.
13. Sis-in-law gave birth to my first nephew, Adam.
14. Adila [my first niece, 4] grows adept at sarcasm.
15. The presence of broadband in Sarah

17. A result from [16] bought another harddisk [a WD 250GB SATA] for Sarah
18. Strengthened my lousy Japanese
19. A result from [17] lots of new and exciting anime.
20. Sarah stays online 24/7
21. Finished Doom 3
22. Caught plenty of wonderful movies, though some of them just plain suck.
23. Lost my 256MB thumb drive but found it back.
24. Joined the Hunter’s Battle.net Server via MMU’s VPN.
25. A certain special friend [you know who you are], with whom I’ve had several heart-to-heart conversations and spent so many wonderful hours with. Thank you for all the great times.

The Bad
1. Dissatisfying academic achievements
2. Severed ties with a few people
3. Long-lost friends unwilling to let me into their lives again
4. A result from [2], a broken heart
5. A result from [1], unable to keep up with peers’ academic progress
6. Starting a one-man journey through my academic years
7. Sarah got hacked, and were attacked by viruses which only meant about 5 reformats this year alone.
8. A result from good [17], Sarah is getting full again
9. Half-life 2 died on me.
10. My Warcraft skills deteriorated and I frequently lose like a newbie
11. A result from [10], got hooked on DOTA
12. Reversed Boy into a lecturer’s car
13. A result from [12], had to foot the lecturer’s repair bill of RM800
14. Got involved with unnecesary idiots’ issues, events, plans and lifestyles
15. Become very quick to judge people
16. Become easily biased
17. Become quite selfish
18. Slowly turning into Mr. I-Don’t-Give-A-Flying-Fuck.
19. Gotten myself into another emotional mess, worried that I might break another heart, mine or someone’s else

Well. That’s about it, I guess. 2004 was wonderful, and I look forward to another wonderful year. My heart goes out to victims and families of victims of the 26/12 Tsunami. 2005 is rolling in a few hours, let’s end 2004 with a pleasant night and kick-start a wonderful 2005 tomorrow!
