The Silent Room

Another boring night led me to decide between 2 things. Sleep, or go out for dinner. Since Kaybin, another housemate of mine, is hungry, I decided what the hell, might as well grab dinner with him.

So then we walked to the nearby mamak. Throughout the day, the weather aws nice. Cloudy, windy but no rain. I love it like that.

Anyway, after about 2 mins of walking, we came to a clearing. Actually a T-junction, where there is less trees than usual. By instinct, I looked up in the sky. I thought I saw an aeroplane. It was a bright dot in the sky, and it moved very fast. It’s a bite odd since there was no blue, or red, or blinking lights accompanying it.

Suddenly, the dot stated to light up. It lit up so bright, it outshined other stars as it tears across the sky. After about 3 secs of the bright glow, it fades out. Only then I realized, that I saw a meteor. A rare occasion indeed. Last time I saw one was about 2 years ago, back in Cheras. Again, by instinct I looked up in the sky. The only difference then, was that the meteor I saw last time had a burning tail. Oh well. It was a nice surprise every once in a while. Can’t think of anything else to write.
